Thus far I believe there's not been an official designation between the two - but most likely the 16A's lovely die chip makes it different?

No, I don't have one but the NGC65 I have is most likely a 16... so I thought this a good prompt to ask if there could be an official decision on the 16A variant?

@fogie and @Unc90o you both have 16s in the SSDC registry, right - assuming both of these are 16As as they're in the Die Chips set...

Any way your coin could land on @messydesk's desk the same time mine could arrive?
