SSDC Registry set deadline

Post by vampicker » Sat Nov 24, 2018 4:03 pm

Yes, it's that time again. The deadline for SSDC Registry sets for judging awards is December 1st. Get your last minute additions and/or corrections squared away as I will begin the judging process shortly after the deadline. The awards will be announced at VAM Thing on January 11th at the FUN show.

Bump. Hopefully the lack of response isn't a refection of lack of interest

Just added a new coin to my 1921-P date set.
Woo-hoo! Sixty-four percent complete!

Oh wait. It takes 4.3 new coins to move the percent completed needle just one point. :?
When in doubt... don't.

My expanded 1902-O set has been up for a while. My 1904-P set has also been up a while. Both sets are cool, but need some exposure if only in my eyes. Of course there are sets by others that likely deserve mention more than mine. You are the final arbiter. I do not envy your task ;)

That's a big-time fact!

Only 153 left to go... except 47 of 'em have a total SSDC pop of ZERO and 61 others have a total pop of one, which may be a problem.

I just don't get it, you posted this a couple days ago and hardly any response... I mean, not one single person has offered me a 21-S VAM-29a since your post!
I go totally NUTS for WOW! VAMs!! Or is that from WOW! VAMs?

Crap just sent a rare low grade gem in. Will be Jan, before I know if it grades.
Rodent, I have your 21S 29A, worn it slick so it will grade a zero, just like your set is worth.

Well this one will not make it into the registry this year but its a stone cold Bunny coin. I am about 90% sure it was a V1a and I think its a PO-1

JR,
So is it closed right now, or is it at the end of the day?

I just realized that I had one of my top pop set coins attributed on TPG label. It is still in same TPG plastic, same grade, just different serial number.
Do I need to change serial number today, or does it even matter?

Same attribution and grade shouldn't make a difference. I've already looked once, but I'll take a much deeper look over the next day or two to firm up the actual winners

JB,
Thank you. Yes, same everything, TPG, grade, attribution, etc. Just a new serial number that I have not had time to change in the SSDC yet.

John, I had about 120 coins upgrade this year and I never had a chance to update the SSDC site. I'm really sorry. I've been so busy moving and I just haven't had time to pull the coins out.
