1921P Is this 3EX2?
I believe this is 3EX2. It does not have the polishing line at ON on the reverse but the other markers seem to be correct. I am wondering because there seems to be alot more going on than just the polished possible feeder finger marks on the reverse but none of the doubling is mentioned.
Am I correct? Thanks in advance.

Re: 1921P Is this 3EX2?
That does look like a VAM 3EX2 to me. Don't worry about not seeing the die file line between ON; that's only really plain on EDS 3EX1 examples. Now go find some weird LDS break and make it 3EX3!
Re: 1921P Is this 3EX2?
Thanks! @weth
I thought it was but there is alot of doubling and on the reverse some devices look tripled or more and some of the scribbles were missing so I was'nt sure! Thanks again!

Re: 1921P Is this 3EX2?
Each die has a life and a progression, and it's hard for a single set of descriptions to capture all of that. The descriptions listed for a particular VAM often depend on the die state submitted (EDS will show scribbles and doubling and die file lines better, whereas LDS will more often highlight breaks and clashes and late polishing events). We only really understand the life of a die by examining multiple examples and refining the description.
So congratulations on nailing the identification on a complex and convoluted date/mintmark series!

Re: 1921P Is this 3EX2?
Thanks! @weth It definitely is a complex/convoluted series! This one took awhile to figure out! Love the doubling/tripling/quadrupling on most of the devices on this one, so it turned out to be a fun find! Thanks again!
