1885 VAM?

Is the 1885 imaged below considered a Normal date, at or near its right limit or might it be considered a Far date, at or near its left limit? Is the 1 considered doubled @ the base of the upper crossbar & junction with the left side of the upright? Is the 1st 8 doubled at the inside upper right and top of the lower loop?
