1882S Obverse of V3 Reverse of V8

I have been attributing a couple 1882S' with concave obverses. The first was 37a with the forehead gouge but this one gave me a hard time. I think I figured it out but not sure. The obverse is concave very close in concavity in hand to the 37a and has the die markers of V-3 with clashing remnants at rear of cap. I matched the reverse by the die scratches and MM location and V-8 seems to be a match for the reverse. Please let me know if I am correct. Thanks in advance, I appreciate you all!

Zoikes... my eyeses see what your eyeses sees. The PUPs look pretty convincing that this is a 3/8 pairing.

Looked at my notes and I have one for the VAM 3 that says 'saw unlisted marriage with normal rev' . I went thru the listings just now and didn't find a newer listing that would fit the bill. I think you should send this in to me or JB

It's easy. Just go to the company website. There's a link to the submission form with detailed instructions. Write possible new VAM in the variety field so they know to send it to me. Overall, it's cheaper to send a few coins together rather than just one, mostly due to the shipping and insurance charges.

Your coin got me to looking at my coin... mine is 'just' a VAM-3 with AMAZING acid treatment on the reverse. Not to hijack your post but to say you'd suck if you'd have a new combo... Mine clearly doesn't have the VAM-8 reverse yours appears to have, but ALL the same obverse PUPs are there.

Interestingly, to me, I think the MM on mine is a bit doubled off to the right side... not stated in the attribution description:
