Clashed 1921-S
This appears to be the top of an “E” clash, but it’s easier to see in hand than it is to photograph! Any feedback will be appreciated.

Not seeing any 'E' with my eyes. You'd need to look for additional obverse and reverse PUPs that are usually found.
For example, see the pages for 1878-P VAM-84A, 1880-P VAM-33A and 39A, 1883-O VAM 22A and 36A, 1884-P VAM-2A, 1886-O VAM 1A, 1887-P VAM-1B, 1888-O VAM-1Ax, 1889-O VAM1Ax and 20A, and, of course, the great 1891-O VAM-1Ax and 3Ax.
Seeing the clash line from the wing to the 'n' of In is not really relevant if you're thinking this an 'E' clash but it does show something happened.
Good luck and share pictures of what you find, please?

i see the thing you think is the backbone of the E but for me, i couldn't commit to a yes from those images just because of how many ghost E clashes are out there.
if you feel strongly about it though, toss it in an order with some other coin(s). it's only a little bit of money to have the big dog look her over.

Any hint of cotton blossom clash transfer in the lower right field? That is commonly correlated and the clashing at the n/In is often not there or strong on E transfers.

Did we forget about the clashed E scorecard?

Exactly. Didn't know of the scoreboard. But the upper reverse clash transfers are uncommon with E clashes except in extraordinarily strong clashes or double clashes. Unfortunately the counterparts on the obverse (reverse devices transferred) are not easily found due to the structure of the obverse die there.
