1924-P worn die ?

This 1924-P look to be double struck ( machine doubling ) maybe .. Dies look to be worn out .The strike
is deep in to the coin . The E R is the over strike . This is a nice raw MS coin . Not shore if it would be called
an error . Just a PEACE dollar to look at . :popcorn: :!: :?:

What I see in the fields looks like a worn die. What I see on the letters looks like PMD.

Quality control for Peace dollars was at a low ebb. All Treas Sec Mellon wanted was to replace the Pittman Act bonds as fast as possible.
