Back From LVA! w/ Counterfeit 27S

Hello my Friends, just got my 1st batch of the year back from Mr. Van Allen. Wow, think I got one of everything!
2 revisions, 4 new, 2 duds and a counterfeit. Not sure if I should feel foolish or excited about the counterfeit.
The only coin I didn't vet thru VAMworld Ok, lesson learned, it truly was a last minute decision to send......

Thanks Chief! Not sure how I feel about the 27S, I have 3 counterfeit Morgans, all purchased from eBay over the past 4 yrs. Got my money back on all of them. I've learned a few things since then.......my 1st was from a seller who had 100% feedback and 4K+ sales. I notified them and they refunded money. The other 2 were a bate and switch type deal and both were shipped from China Both sellers were shut down immediately and eBay refunded my money. The 27s was purchase several years ago and I have no history on eBay....it looks so real!
Oh, I forgot to add I had a kill as well, 22D VAM26 and 26A killed VAM 2F

I only have a few Peace dollars. And one is a counterfeit.
I was going through dollars at a store one day. As I was going through a bucket, I told the owner that "this one is a counterfeit". He asked how I could tell. I smiled and said that they did not make a Peace dollar in 1828.

Yes, I got a couple coins that day and had him throw in the counterfeit as part of the deal.

Yes Please! Let me know what I can do to help. I'll PM you the pics if you'd like. I really would like to learn how to add pics to the pages, not just for my discoveries but for all those VAM pages that don't have a full coin photo. There are a lot of PEACE VAMs that I have that don't have full coin pics and other helpful pics....Hope that made sense PM me any time and let me know how I can help

On a different note:
I purchased a 88-O VAM-4 Hotlips from a Ebay seller here in the states on Sept 10th.
Received a counterfeit Morgan from a shipper in China and just got a refund from Paypal last week. An over 2 month ordeal!

Is this being called a Near date or Normal left? LVA's letter is calling it Near in his comments, but the MTP is calling it left edge of Normal lateral placement.
