1882-O/S VAM-5 EDS...

Post by TheYokel » Tue Nov 20, 2018 7:41 am

This is the second 1882-O I bought to add to the collection. I used the difference in the ear lines between the three varieties to tell which one I had. If I got this one correct, I still have a little faith in myself to learn lol...

And this is a shot of the chicken pox that cover the bird...

And no one wanted this beauty just because it was in a basement slab :(

Edit: and the book doesn't lie about it probably having reflective surfaces... This Reverse is insane...

Oh nice, so I picked some good ones as my first solo finds? :)

And it's safe to say it isn't me. I go the NGC route normally ;)

Question about numbers since I remember you saying you own a large portion of the o/s population, lol... What is the actual real-world ratio for eds overmints compared to later states? I know the books talk them up as being rarer, but based on your real-life experience handling so many?...

Sold one in DMPL some time back. Looks like there might still be some flash left in your fields, but hard to be sure.
