1879 S Help
I've been looking at this 1879 S (possibly PL) coin I came to own and I have a few questions. Is the S doubled? I see it tilted left but I don't think it's doubled. There is a line in the hair but not the ear. And the O in ONE looks like it was doubled possibly or just scratched? The other letters don't loo doubled. The 9 looks doubled but no other numbers and the W in We possibly doubled/tripled? Any ideas on the VAM? Appreciate the help.
