1904 O VAM help
I picked up this 1904 O with heavy clash thinking it may be a 4B, but now I'm not thinking it is lol. It's definitely not a 28A but maybe a 35 A or B, however doesn't fully line up. Please help!

Now some odd stuff. There is a chin hair that almost goes to the star (pics 2,3,4), spike in ear and I'm not sure if the line from the nose I'd PMD or during the strike.

Cool VAM
Not enough information.
But it is either a 35A or 35B.
Great clashed VAM.

Loverly clashes for sure.
No gouges near the A of DOLLAR rules out 35B so looks to be a 35A to me. Definitely not a 4B or 28A as no pitting and wrong letter transfer, respectively.

Late to the discussion, but I believe it is a 35A.

Nice clashes!
Re: 1904 O VAM help
Happy to help and to support the positive enthusiasm here! One suggestion is to not look quite so closely at each part of each coin. Many of the pictures are way too zoomed in to be of significance/help. As discussed elsewhere (but not adhered to by even very experienced VAMmers) the guide is to stop at 10x magnification when trying to pin down attributions/PUPs. Yes, the scribbling scratchers and others looking at extremely nunaced aspects of the hobby might disagree, but as far as IDing varieties and obtaining the elusive discovery coin, the decision makers have made it faily clear that Leroy and George's 'if it can't be seen by the slightly aided eye, it isn't significant enough' is still the guiding principle.
Not hoping to rain on any parade, but to help shift the hunt and ID fun into a new phase.
Happy hunting in this new year!
