Great study on a cool series.

If you send me the 23A I will see if I concur with your overall finding.

And before you send it just know you might not get it back!!!!!

Love that coin

Clashed die sequence is very difficult to interpret and follow with a limited number of specimen. Your dedication on research in this field is exemplary. Thank You Wayne for all of the contributions that you provide on VAMWorld!
Spoken from a guy who knows. For research purposes, Die Sequencing is the way to go. It will lead you to the facts and cut out all of the noise. Thanks Roger. Your contributions have made VAMWorld a much better site.

Just so you know I looked at EVERY auction there was today as I do every week at 1889 -p. There is a reason there are less than 10, 23 A's out there(KNOWN) . Fact is Ive been looking for a minute , and I'm sure most of you have been looking since its discovery . Almost like one shift after the big mishap clash of dies that made noise and some young apprentice got his butt chewed out... Damn thing is so rare as of 2023 { almost } ..... Didn't you say on here there were like 14 or 17 million coins minted at Philly that year?
Proud winner of Worst new Vammer of the year

New detailed photos of each 3 newly reported Reverse clashes will be added to the VAM-23A and VAM-23B pages soon. In addition, a link will be provided to view each newly reported Reverse clash in high resolution (outside of VAMWorld).
