1890 O mm set right help

Thanks in advance... should be a quick answer but I am not seeing it. There are only (2) 1890 O set right on the sort by reverse with normal mint mark. This coin does not seem to meet any of the PUP's.

There are (2) mini-bumps that hang off of the left wreath ribbon. Tons of polish marks.

I can get special pics if needed.

Thanks again

Did you check it vs 16 B , The plate photo does not appear to me to have the O set all that high .

From what I can see your coin does look like the VAM-13B that UNCLE BINGO suggested. The die chip under the low spot of the bow on left looks similar but other pointed to things are not as clear in pic. Check for other pick ups to confirm.
The VAM-13B description of High 0 Set Right is wrong as the 'line' pics below show it is a Low O Set Right
In the "sort by reverse" only VAM-16 (the generic description) and VAM-16A are listed under "C3m - High O Shifted Right", while the VAM-16B is not on the list at all.
The VAM-16B should be added to this sort but as a Low O Set Right, that is after we figure out how to correct the description and assign a new Reverse letter to it. Help

16B!

Thanks Uncle Bingo and Mike7E. The other Die markers on the Obverse are all there. The small bump called a "raised dot" in the center is there, just not as developed as the other 2 towards the left.

Yes I agree that this is nowhere near a raised O and that is what threw me too. I also believe that the description and sort by reverse should be changed.

Thanks and Mystery solved.

Very nice denticle impression coin. I agree that it's not a High O. Thanks for bringing this up.

Absolutely, of course any contribution i did just proves a broken clock is right 2 times a day  I do have a serious question though is the die chip looking thing at 11 o clock just off the mint mark on both the plate photo and silvertoken 's coin the third denticle impression ? or something else ... anything that looks like Orions belt is going to just catch my eye . but that is another story

Like the fact that it's not the chips but the mintmark is placed so different... how could it B from that A?

You're gonna have to ask someone else how the numbers and `the descriptions work ... i just though based off the pictures you provided it was a match for the discovery coin plate photos listed for 16B ... the date sinched it but I did not look for a possible dbl listing with another number .

VAM 16B has been renumbered to VAM 37.
