Post by jlojek00 » Mon Oct 24, 2022 11:36 pm

Whatever happened to the canvas bags the GSA dollars were stored in? Were any printed with the words "Carson City Mint"?

Silver dollars were packed in bags and/or boxes of 1,000 coins. For a few years in the 1880s, $500 bags were occasionally used.
