1882CC, VAM 3A

I recieved this today and have it narrowed down to 3A. I then noticed this note:
"as per VAMpicker this a stage of VAM 3 that exists between VAMs 3A and 3B" but doesn't explain this other stage. I see the data under Temporary Pages and read JRs notes but nothing that describes this other stage and/or how it differs from 3A. Maybe it's in the notes from Mr. Austin. I just don't see a difference in the pictures. I'll admit I don't understanding "sequenching" very well but would appreciate any help understanding this stage that apparently is not worthy of being its own VAM. TIA
