One for all of the dark side junkies
Since it has been a LONG time, since I have found a good vam, I was looking through
my coins and saw one of my most memorable finds ever.
I had seen the post, about Peace dollars, with Dom and Tom and found my pictures,
when I had posted it a long time ago.
It is hard to describe the excitement, that I felt, when I saw the line through the L, on this
1921 PCGSMS64 vam 3 and clicked the buy it now.
If it wasn't for this great website, with all of the great information and pictures, I would
not have known what to look for.
Enjoy, Bert

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Bert, this is what the Dark Side dreams of when we sleep.
What a gorgeous Peace $! Thanks for sharing!!!!!!

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
If that was a find from days of yore, you've also don't extremely well with the way 1921 Peace dollars have shot up in value. They're down a little from last year's highs, but still way up from 5 years ago.
Welcome to the VAMWorld 2.0 discussion boards. R.I.P. old VAMWorld.
Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Thank you everyone,
I was just about to add this last picture, of my 1921 yesterday evening and wouldn't
you know, my power or electric went out, until late this morning.
Of course with no electricity, I headed for bed.
Thank you, Bert

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
I forgot to say the value means little to me, because nothing can equal
the GREAT feeling I get, when I get my coins out and remember how excited
I was, when I first saw them.
Here is one of my other more memorable finds.
My 1934 D NGCMS62 VAM 3A, WITH SOME VERY COOL DOUBLING.
Enjoy, Bert

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Hi Bert long time with your posts . They are the best memories finding super nice
coins 1921 VAM 3 , 1934-D VAM 3 . WTG ..
My best memory came when i found my 1925-S VAM 3A .. Their are only three found
so far . When i was hunting i tried to buy 1 of the 2 known coin . i offered big bucks
and was turned down. So the hunt continued 3 more years and they it appeared and
my heart started pounding . It is graded and attributed by ANACS JR .

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Wow! Nice coin Bert. It's about time we start coming out of the shadows and showing some of the manly coins. lol
That 21 is one I don't have in my collection, I have a nice 28 in MS63. I would sure appreciate if you could gift that 21 to an old guy. Nice finds!

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Thank you everyone.
WOW Tom, just to have a 1925 S would be great, but the VAM 3A and only three known.
I just looked it up, to see what it looked like.
Have you posted pictures of it?
I would like to see it.

Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
I tried to click your ID chgolaw1 and morganman to maybe get your names, but for some
reason it didn't go through, like I had done a long time ago.
I have so many ID's and their names, from a long time ago saved on my computer.
Thanks Tom, I looked at and tried to remember all of the great pictures, on your 1925 S vam 3A
on he vam 3A page.
Here is another 1921 Peace dollar, that the strong clashes, under the UM in UNUM, on the reverse,
jumped out at me and I bought it a long time ago.
My 1921 SEGSMS63.
I had it labeled a vam 1O, but now when I looked at that vam page, there is no mention of the very
strong clashing, in addition to the spike o the top of the wing.
Here are some pictures.
I have the dot on the top/back neck picture, but it is on my old PC, I can get it later.
Is this a vam 1O?

I say you are on top of your game VAM 1o .
Re: One for all of the dark side junkies
Thank you Tom, Thanks to this GREAT website and the many members, that help
identify the vams, I slowly learned what to look for, way back on the internet, when
I could still find them there.
Here is my last picture, of the dot on the neck, below the hair.
