I am leaning to "no" on the obverse neck (hair vee is clear) but added a few photos for the collective here.

So, this is an interesting coin; the 1878 SF mint did not usually turn loose into circulation dollars with noteworthy clash marks. This is the otherwise very common V8 die 1. Note that some die 1 and all die 2 (when rusted became 8A) have a big chip at the E of UNITED. This does not, but I’d bet the polish job of the clashed die yielded the chip. The remaining hints of clashing after being polished are hardly noticeable on later die 1 and 2 coins. As die 1 started life as 2-sided PL, I can’t fathom that v 85 really exists, but that is another story and still under debate. As for obverse letter transfer? Well, I still lean towards “no” but under the right light and tilt maybe a hint of 1/2 that n. I will likely bring for show and tell to the next FUN show and let some better eyes look. Reverse clash is much heavier, so obv may have already gotten some polishing…
