VAM PowerPoint presentations? Please share...

I'm being invited to speak to the Nottingham Numismatic Society in the autumn and I'd love to help get a few locals more interested in VAMming...
I'm putting together some slides but wanted to see if the community have any they'd be willing to share. Not just about VAMs, but what led to Trade dollars being replaced by Morgans... the minting process... the wild fun that happened along the way...
Pretty much anything you'd be willing to share. I'd be appreciative and would thak you and your contributions during the talk.
Can share via email, create a place on the wiki, Google drive, Dropbox folder, MSTeams, or one of the dozens of other wonderfully easy tech solutions.
Thanks in advance,
Gary

Here's one I did on GSA dollars a few years ago for CONA. Most of this is still up to date, but it's worth noting the 93-CC in a hard pack surfaced shortly after my presentation.

I don't have anything to share but an opinion.
I would stay away from minting processes and anything technical. I would show a few of the Top 100 Morgans that anyone can see with the naked eye and are actually worth some money. Let's say Hot Lips, Shifted Eagle, Scar Face, etc.
I don't know how sophisticated a foreign coin club audience would be on US coins in the first place.

Hear you on staying awar from minting process, etc. Having lived here nearly 6 years now I can say hand on heart that the locals are a fascinating lot... I'll not voice my very American opinion about 'sophistication' (of the coin club or the members) but will say there are nice blokes (and not-to-nice ones) everywhere my little feet have trodden... and the land of Robin Hood is no exception.
Thanks others for your help. Will share what I ultimately pull together.

We all know that Morgan was English, and taught/trained there. Right, thank them for us would you...

You'll have 15-20 minutes tops before you lose your audience. Lay the foundation by saying what the coins are, the legislation that caused them to be made (Bland, Sherman, Pittman acts), and how being plentiful in high grade made them one of the most popular US types. The hoards of inexpensive uncirculated coins (briefly explain why these exist) made it easy to study them for die varieties, as was done by three different people in the 60s -- Klaes, Van Allen, and Mallis, with Van Allen and Mallis eventually working together. Then focus on a few that are significant for various reasons -- 78 VAM 9 "First Morgan", 88-O Hot Lips, 91-O VAM 1A, 00-O/CC, 78 7/8 TF, for example. All can be found and identified circulated and all are popular. Let questions guide the rest of your talk.

I don't have much to add other than what has already been said, but what a great opportunity to expand VAM knowledge. I would only add that you take some of your best VAMs to show and I think they will stay interested.

I would definitely mention the very rare 1889-P VAM-23A.

In conjunction with the 23A, the stages of the 23B are also economically obtainable die stages, not to mention that the 23 is an assumed coin? If I understand the methodology that the 23A had to come from somewhere and that out there somewhere is a 23 just waiting to be added to the VamWorld!

Brilliant and appreciated input.
Because of your quick response rates and high-quality of inupt, I'm doubling all of your current salaries and immediately paying you a triple bonus over what you received last year.
No, make that a sextupling of your previous bonus. Just like the 1883-P VAM-10 stars, all y'all are sexy-tuppled stars in my book.
Never say I don't show my appreciation with realistic gains. Sure any number times zero is still... well... zero. But it's the appreciation and intent that counts?
