It seems like half of the 1921-Ds I pick up these days are not shown in the die crack break and scribbles guides. Yesterday was a bad day, though; it was 2 out of 2. Any help would be most appreciated.
My first thought was pitting, but maybe it's gouges?
Strange gouges at O in DOLLAR:
A bold polishing line at ME in AMERICA:
Several light polishing lines around the left wing tip:
Excellent scribbles, plus outside-the-leg scribbles and polishing lines all over the eagle's abdomen:
odd stuff on this 1921-D

When in doubt... don't.

Send it. I can't find the scribbles in all of Leroy's photos.

Well Mighty Casey, your batting average is steady.
