NEW R-7 Retained Cud 1921 $

Wanted to celebrate upcoming 4th of July in a spectacular VAM Fashion! 1921 P $ D1 Reverse that is much more interesting than VAM 19A is about to cross the CRUSHER's desk. This specimen was viewed and photographed by (Mr. 21) Crae Morton at the June Raleigh Expo Coin Show. Obverse major displaced field die breaks with doubled and tripled stars, Reverse retained cud AMERICA, die break wreath and die gouges. Full reveal will be posted after JR's attribution. This silver dollar opens the door for an epic double cud (obverse and reverse ) "possibility" on a Morgan Silver Dollar!! IMO

Further study at higher magnification shows split serif hub doubling on STATES.
