I have an 1890-CC with what looks like it has an obv. clashed die. It looks like letters, but they would be in wrong placement if dies were aligned properly, and I think there is rev. dbling (top of T's show the most), hopefully not machine dbling. I'll attach pics. Can anyone tell me if this as a vam that others have seen (I know it's a vam), or info. on it?

Welcome to the site..... you might take a look at VAM 5a. The primary feature being the doubled CC, but your photo of the die crack through the T of states seems to match. The area of clashing you enlarged looks to possibly be PMD from another coin hitting that area.
