way OT: phone charger adapters?

I have a special hate for the way new cell phone models of the same brand often have different power supply "in" jacks, thereby rendering the company's old car chargers (which were too darn expensive in the first place) useless.

Does anyone know if adapters could-should-do exist that would allow me to use my older car chargers on my newer Motorola phone?

It does not; 2007 Accord.

I'd think one of those round plugs for what used to be the cigarette lighter with the USB port on the other end would work. That's if the other end of your charging cord is a standard USB
