Kenny, looks like your peace$ is heavily clashed from what I can see in the photo's. Looks like the eagles shoulder spike has been filed to remove the clashed mark (spike). I have a couple question as well on the rv and obv. I've circled each area where I have questions. On the rv, is that a crack above eagles head between S & O of OF? Also, are the rays below eagles tail feathers doubled? (Maybe a little dbling on olive leaves and branches? (can't tell from photo's)
On obv, are there heavy file lines between 9 and 2 of date? Any gouges around TRUST, IGW, again, can't tell from photo's.

From what I can tell, the 'crack' didn't look like a crack until I put it under the microscope. I believe I can see some raised metal, but can't be 100% sure. The lower part of the Reverse doesn't appear to be doubled. There is file lines from the Eagles shoulder level up. The Obverse is showing polishing around TRUST, but not in date or IGW from what I can tell. Pics attached, Thanks for the input!...kenny

Kenny, great pics! I'll have a look later today or tomorrow, I've seen all this before but haven't seen the crack before. Can you clean the crack area with some acetone to be sure it's a crack?
This type of crack I believe is a listable attribute. Anywho, more to come my friend!

Kenny, could you get me a closer pic of the olive branch stem? Can't tell if it's a B1 or 2 reverse, or can you tell?

It's a B2 reverse. I agree w/ Jody that it is heavily clashed w/ heavy polishing marks. Most likely it is a later die state (after polishing) of a listed clash such as VAM 2AV or 2BS. I don't see a letter transfer, so would be reluctant to list it other than VAM 2.

Dr., from Kenny's photo's and the 2AV VAM page, they seem to match up!Looks like it has the same machine doubling on obv along nose and neck and looks to have all the same clash marks on obv with same die crack thru lower neck. Can't see the letter transfer from the photo, but I never could see those in LVA photo's either
