I gave it a try.
It said I was a "Mediator." I'm sure there was a mistake and they meant "Instigator."
Now it would be fun to sit down with a brother or friend of 50 years and have them fill it out for me, and see how their image of me differs from my own self image.

I've done the test several times in different settings, always with the same result. There's probably limit to how many times you can do such a test before your answers become biased due to learning how the test works.

Quite a variety 'round here!
I've wondered the same thing, especially for those that are more inclined to follow their emotions. I also believe that it is best to "fly through" the test, because the more time someone has to think about it the better the chance of trying to answer "correctly" as opposed to giving the truest answer.

reminds me of a personality test i took years ago. forgot the name of it. it said i should have been a doctor or teacher, which is spot on. i didn't look into this one yet.

the psyche of people in the modern age is a curious thing. some of the results seem contradictive in nature but i guess is explained away about the dynamics of how each of our minds and experiences are altered by perhaps discipline and maturity?

it is also important that these are based on previous experiences and how easy it is to change most of the above if/when a person is transplanted with the people in their life and/or a totally new environment (rural vs urban, cold vs hot weather etc)

fun to do these a couple times each decade for self-examination and growth. thanks for the link squirrel.

Spot on that's pretty neat.. Had a buddy do something like this with a few of us pretty much came out same way course this was long before internet lol prolly like mid 80's

This is quite possibly one of my favorite posts because I'm an addict to the hobby and have been studying the human brain for 30+ years.

In all its... er... glory.

The only thing I'd like to add to the conversation is something called the 'fallacy of introspection' - also known as the 'introspection illusion.' Similar to ghost Es on many reverses... we do not accurately see the world or our own selves in objective/factual ways. Most of the time. Yet, we can get to know ourselves better by simply asking questions (or taking surveys) - if we remember they don't give us accurate information, but they do give us information we can use to challenge our assumptions. And possibly become better people.

For those of you who'd like to grab a gin, coffee or other drink, shoot me a DM and I'll send you a short (68 page) expose on the topic. You can Google it, too, but what would be the fun in that?!
