Peace VAM update Q1 2022

I have several changes to make, with some photos, so I will do this in 2 posts

VAM kills Q1 2022
1922 VAM 60 same as VAM 2BW2 – thanks to Adam Sutton. Already listed on another thread
1924 VAM 1K3 same as VAM 1K2 – discovery coin of VAM 1K2 (ANACS 63 4205839 on
GreatCollections ended 4/3/22) has die break PEACE of VAM 1K3. VAM 1K2 eliminated, to
be reinstated if a specimen is found with o/w listable die break A w/o die break PEACE, or
vice versa.

VAM revisions 2022
1922D VAM 8A has die crack below mountains. Credit to Tom Petrosie 2/2022

1923 VAM 1AE w/ die gouges below GOD. Will separate these into subvarieties if someone can
show a coin w/ die gouges but no die break, or die break w/o die gouges.

Made the SSDC Registry changes. All 1924 VAM-1K2 were moved to VAM-1K3. VAM-1K2 deleted and removed from the 1924 Peace set. There were no 1922 VAM-60 registrations. VAM-60 was removed. It was never added to the 1922 Peace set'; so no action there required.

Recently graded ANACS 1923 $ VAM 1AE MS 62 originally attributed VAM 1AE2 DC by LVA shows very little if any die gouges below GOD. This example will be submitted to Dr. Close sometime this year for re-evaluation. Perhaps this LDS will help determine listable stage for Tom Petrosie also.

Hi Roger : I can not tell how long in have had this 1923-P VAM 1AE But this coin is VAM 1AE2 .
Double Liberty profile , Finger gouge N GO ( IN GOD ) also on REV collar clash at R in DOLLAR .
Turned in to Dr. Close for revision or new listing . Coin is in a PCI holder MS 64 ,very nice coin .
Submitted coin because of your coin Roger to get more info listed on the VW pages .
