Just Out of Curiosity
What was the last VAM the Mr. VanAllen put a discovery lable on since new discoveries are now done by VAM experts? Do we know?
I may not be the best, but I do not know anyone better.
Re: Just Out of Curiosity
Looks like it was 79-S VAM 128 in early November according to my records, but there may have been others after that last year.

I wouldn't slight Leroy since I would consider him a very substantial VAM expert. After all, without Leroy we wouldn't be where we are with VAMs.lioncutter wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 9:59 pmWhat was the last VAM the Mr. VanAllen put a discovery lable on since new discoveries are now done by VAM experts?

It was not intended to slight Mr. Van Allen at all. I consider Mr. Van Allen the Master of VAM experts but realize he has retired from attributing new discoveries.bob259 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 06, 2022 2:25 pmI wouldn't slight Leroy since I would consider him a very substantial VAM expert.
