1923-S: A busy coin

Post by MarkyB » Thu Feb 24, 2022 6:40 am

Help please. I just can't bring it all together. I thought it was a 1CC but the path of the obverse break is different. The file lines on the eagles shoulder are severe and visible to the eye but no match found. Shortened rays both sides. Lower obverse crack matches 1Y2. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks. It certainly has the 1AZ markers. Added another look at the shortened rays.

Can we get this thread linked to the 1AZ page? This is a great variety that seems underappreciated.

I remember this coin. I believe it was 11 years ago. Sorry JR, I never sent it to you.
