TOP GOALS FOR 2022

This year one of my goals, and probably the top goal, is to prove or disprove the existence of the 1881-O VAMs 29 and 31.

VAM 29 - Doubled 18 and Stars was discovered back in 1998, but there are no images and only one has been recorded.

VAM 31 - Doubled 18 was discovered in 2001 and is also supported without complete documentation. There is a single photo of the date, but that is all.

These two may exist, but either way I want to put this discussion to bed during 2022!

My goal is to get my 1921-P Morgan date set above 75% completion and then stay there. I was bouncing back and forth between 74 and 75% all last year, as new coins went into the set and others went out. It seemed like each time a new one was added I would drop back below 75%.

I just want to finish my E clash set and start upgrading some of the lower grades. I only need 2 to finish . 1891 O Vam 3A1 and 1888 O vam 1a1 I think as I just picked a early state 1a2 I believe.
I would like to upgrade my 1891 O Vam 1A3 to AU-50 or at least XF if I can find one.

I would like to upgrade my PCGS 117 pc. Morgan Dollar w/ major varieties Registry set a notch or two higher. After every show I do, with the profits, I try to get an upgrade coin for the set. Hope it works out this year.

1) overtake JR again in 78-CC set (probably won’t be w/i budget ); if this goal gets accomplished, he ‘ll just buy another and we’ll be back here again next year…
2) fill half my empty 78-S set holes , where examples are known to exist
3) get back to working on 1878 B2 rev book

My goal is to continually supply Heritage
with Morgans to auction and outright sell them
as well. I love their professional approach from
start to finish, as i dont have to mkt at fleabay
and do descriptions and especially pictures
of which i have no idea of what im doing.
Heritage takes all the frustration of marketing
out of equation for me. Just sending me money
makes my face feel better. LOL

At this point i have achieved more Collecting/
Investing in numismatics than i could ever
imagine. Nobody in my family gives a damm
so its time to bail. Its been a total blast and
the thrills of acquiring large numbers of Morgans
along with the vams add ons has been great.

Good luck with the sales, but you don't have to own them all to be a VAMer.
