1888-S Possible Vam-12B?

This coin has most of the listed features of a 6B, but there seems to have been a lot of the reverse pitting polished off. There are lots of polish lines around the MM and the pitted areas which makes me believe the coin is a 12B. There aren't any photos of the 12B so I hope others here will give their thoughts.
