2021 Morgans and Peace Dollars - Orders are processing

My D and S shipped yesterday. Rest of my Morgans still say processing and Peace Dollars say Backorder

Got the notice that my twenty CC and O privvies shipped, meaning shipping tomorrow (though it says yesterday) I presume. Hopefully will arrive in time to drop at the PCGS Invitational later in the week.

Anyone know if you have to keep them in the sealed box to submit for First Strike, if they are even doing that?

My Peace Dollars just went to processing

My order of 3 Phila Morgans and 3 Peace just changed. Before the subtotal was $255, suggesting only the Morgans were ready. Now it is $510. So I guess the Peace allotment was delivered to ship. I guess we will see those going out very soon now.

CC & O and D & S all shipped. My P and Peace have the mail service designated and paid on the credit card. So figure they might ship later today or tomorrow. A logistical feat to get a hundred thousand packages assembled and passed through the post office bottleneck. Whatever I get by Thursday can get dropped at the PCGS Invitational for grading. Otherwise, might be a road trip up to Newport Beach.

I don't know since they where minted in Philly . I would of thought the D and the S would ship from the west since they where minted in the west . Anyone know where they are shipping from?

Received my O, D and S. The P and Peace have shipped. I have to admit, I am a bit disappointed by the coins so far. Not a fan of the satin finish, but it is what it is. The eagle and Liberty are well executed, but for me, what hurts the coins is the lettering. It's rounded and too thin. It just screams "fake" to me. It is very reminiscent of the bad lettering on the Chinese counterfeits.

Some people are complaining about quality problems. However, increasingly, what are seen as defects (scratches in the die rather than on the coin, for instance) are identical on many coins. So there might be a variety potential in these products. Something to look for as they roll in. (Saw one, D I think, had some toning, which I can't imagine coming form a freah Mint release.)

I have seen a few where the cheek is lightly rainbow toned that where just unboxed. Its subtle but you see it for sure.
I am getting my O and CC Privy coins today and my D and S it says all out for delivery . Hoping they either look good or have something neat going on with them.

3for3 2021 P and 3for3 Peace.From what i have seen sofa Lazer etch planchets and or dies.
No serry I dont like it.I will never buy from the USMint in my lifetime again.The coins suck.

So my CC look ok . One O has light toning . All my O’s have marks and one a milk spot. My D’s have a stripped look to the obverse and the same double Knick on the cheek. My S both have knicks and one has cabinet rub look. The D’s are the worst . If what I got is a indication of how most others look then a MS-70 on a 2021 D maybe a modern rarity.

CC and O are in grading. P/D/S arrived today and I will be dropping the submission off tomorrow. No news on my three Peace dollars. I did not even peek at the CC or O. Probably will briefly look at the P/D/S Morgans at the submission table. Might even take a pic or two with the phone. I also add gold shield to get TrueViews. Yeah, it adds $5 to each but if we end up with some varieties, it will save setting them up for photographs. As for quality? I am not going to get all pissy like the modern collectors over at CU. Some 70s would be nice to make sure I don't lose money on these. The Mint produced a total that must be somewhere near a million over the 6 releases. They had to satisfy the Morgan/Peace collectors as well as the bullion folks. The compromise looks fine to me. Would have preferred 90% silver business strikes, like the originals. Glad the Morgans got III/C3 rather than the more date-appropriate IV/D designs.

Two of my Ds look perfect under a loupe. The third looked like it had a huge gouge, but it was just a sliver of plastic under the capsule. That one did have a spot on the cheek, though. My Ses all looked good, too. Now just waiting on my P and Peace Dollars (which have shipped). Wish I could have snagged a CC. Hate that I have to pay double to triple to get one. Might just have to wait to see if the price goes down.
