This is the same Die Pair as VAM 1J. You can see the cud forming below date. The obverse was used previously in VAM 1C2.

The key I use for reverse is a a raised beveld area above the second s in states which progresses clockwise to "o" in "of" with die use. I suppose feed fingers caused this and whatever was causing cud to form on obverse.

The VAM 18 was only listed for a high 8.
