New member here looking for some help on a possible sub variety for 1879-O VAM-36. I recently purchased this coin based on the clashing and condition.
I don’t see much more info on the VAM page or in the forum. I’m curious if my mind/eye is playing tricks — I see what appears to be faint letter transfer at Liberty’s neck and what is possibly letter transfer at the hair V.
Because it’s faint, it’s difficult to photograph, under a loupe I catch what may be the top of two t’s from trust.
I also recognize that because the clash is fairly weak and doubled, that letter transfer is not likely, so I’m looking for some more opinions.
