I'm asking for some assistance in attributing a 1921 S Morgan. I went through the entire list, one by one, and I couldn't find one which matches. Here are some pics.

There is a crack through the "D" in "United).

And there is a crack through the bottom branch from the berries on the 2nd cluster (above the "O" in "One" all the way down through the second "L" in "Dollar".

I also looked through the die crack attribution link, but couldn't find anything.

Circulated 21-S is not going to be easy. They usually start out mushy and only get worse with wear. If there are no scribbles and nothing else noteworthy, I'd just call it VAM 1 and move on.

Left stars on obverse look wrong. May be counterfeit.

I do have better pictures, but VW2 doesn't like .BMP, so all I cold post is a .JPG

It was bought at a coin shop and is the right 26.7 grams in weight.

Maybe, I'll I'll sent it off the JB to attribute it?

Thank you guys :-)

Is that a horizontal gouge across the upper tail feathers between the legs, or something else?

I'm of the opinion that that vertical line is a scratch.

I wish this site would allow me to post some .BMP photos. My microscope only uses that file extension.

You know. I don't think chuckle is the word I'd use.

I think a cone of shame would be more applicable.

That tells me that I've been away from the hobby too long.

That's a big fat ouch!

LOL. Thank you.
