Way to go Chris!!
PLs can be very difficult to attribute, because they have complete/bold scribbles that look like completely different VAMs compared to the later die state incomplete versions that are photographed on the attribution pages, I just took a cruise through the D1 scribbles page and couldn't find a match.
When in doubt... don't.

I find it easier to match scribbles by turning it clockwise 90-degrees. The leg feathers present in form like an eagle's head with a big eye. For this one, I like the long die scratch outside the leg feather's and the pair of heavy scribble lines at the far right there. Those should have stuck around through die use. If it is listed, that ought to be a fast initial pick up.

Congrats! To get a feel for how tough this coin is, look at the pops. 428 in PL and DMPL at PCGS in all grades, which is about 0.4% of the total 1921s graded. Other non-PL coins with pops of about that much include 03-S in 64 and higher (490), 92 in 65 and higher (414), 88-O in 66 and higher (402). The 81-S, which is one of the picks for a high grade type coin has a population of 452 in 67+ and higher.
Cherrypick for both variety and quality.

Congrats Chris
Very nice coin. Have fun with the attribution game- 21s are rather tricky.

Thanks guys! Sure feels good to make a PL. I went up and down the list twice with no luck then Lee just casually laid down the hammer and VAM 1AA she is, no doubt! I'll add her to the pops but if anyone wants to put the PL scribb pics on the page and maybe on the scribb list too, have at her

Thanks guys!

Chris,
I have mentioned this before, but this is a good time to mention this again. As good as the information is for 21-P scribbles, I do not try the VW pages until I have gone through LVA/Crae Morton"s Scribble Guide. It was no problem coming up with VAM-1AA by the Scribble Guide Book. I never would have gotten it by the VW page.
Congratulations on your pick. WTG
