I had 2 on the first one.
A 1881 O VAM 50A AU-53
also a 1879 Vam 101A which no graded ( upon further review had alot of hairlines though still looked pretty good)

I am sure I will have a details one on submission 2. As one had a rim issue but hoping the others are ok.

The vast majority of the no-grades were due to cleanings, based on my observations (PCGS doesn't tell you for bulk). While a couple were head-scratchers, the non-obvious patches of hairlines to eventually pop out at you under the right lighting conditions. I could probably show someone very quickly in person, but it takes a lot of explaining in a post. Use a single bulb for your light, tilt, turn, rotate the coin into and away from the light and something might pop out at you. Practicing looking at problem coins will help you spot the problems. PCGS has been pretty unforgiving with these lately. I don't know if it's just for bulk or also economy and regular submissions, too.

39 coins submitted (all 1921-Ps) :ugeek:
3 no grades
1 AU50
1 AU53
2 AU55s
1 AU58
12 MS61s
10 MS62s
3 MS63s
5 MS64s
1 MS66 :D

Twelve MS61s is easily more than I have received out of all my previous bulk submission 1921-Ps combined (300+).

Extremely nice haul Dennis!
Any new additions for you to strike off your list of those that you are chasing? @DHalladay

Just two -- VAM 3EC (AU50) and VAM 116A (MS62).
I've always strongly avoided putting non-MS coins in the set, but made an exception when I found a VAM 44 (AU58). That led to two other AU58s (one was a Discovery, the other was a "I didn't see that coming") and now the 3EC. It was the stinker in an otherwise B.U. roll and I wasn't going to have it graded. But when I saw it was one I needed I said, "Oh crap. It's already paid for so I might as well..."

That's 341 down and "just" 111 to go.
(And 4 to hopefully upgrade with MS examples).
