I haven't found any nice vams, for awhile, so I
thought I would post, one of the luckiest finds.
It is an 1878 S PCGSMS64 VAM 36B.
I had it labeled a VAM 36 for a long time, until
I looked closer, at the VAM 36 vams and saw the
faint die crack running, from the rim and down
through the back, of the R and below.
I now have it labeled correctly as a VAM 36B R-7.
As I was looking at it, I noticed the tiny round
and oval raised dots, inside the ear and what looks
like maybe doubling, alone the inside-top, of the nose.
What a GREAT feeling, when I first saw that faint
die crack, along the back of the R.
I have MANY pictures.
Enjoy, Bert
