The text doesn't get better. 19mm coin according to them. And, no, there's not a VSS label on this

I whipped up a "square coin" program one day and fed it a quarter image to see how much post-processing was done before minting it. A few dozen lines of C++ code. Surprised me a bit when it worked correctly the first time I ran it. Ran in milliseconds, as compared to the several orders of magnitude longer it would have taken with 1984 technology. It looks like I used nearest neighbor rather than bilinear interporation, hence the "jaggies" in the image.
