1900 S Vam 6 of some kind?

Post by JASONKFLO » Thu May 06, 2021 3:21 am

I do not see any pics of Vam 6 on the site but looking at vam 6A/B I think this is in the Vam 6 family. I do not see a die break in the hair though I do see a die crack there.
Does anyone know where this one lands at? Based on the pics.

Check and see what type of reverse you have. Then check the attribution guides.

Yeah no it can not be a 6 Series , I am leaning towards it being a c4 reverse but I guess it may be also be a C4/C3
It looks like when zoomed in there may be a second berry .
I will go through the vams with listed nose cracks and try and find it
thanks

It might help to ask questions about coins once you actually have them in hand and can look at them closely, rather than go off of often crappy auction photos. Just a thought.

Will do . The heritage pics are often better than I can get with my setup but I’ll take a look closer when it arrives and try and figure it out. That’s the fun part.

It this is the MS62 that was on Heritage's website then you have a VAM-22.
