Prayers for Mr. Goldsmith

Post by DHalladay » Wed Jan 27, 2021 2:15 am

Fultondale, Alabama got badly hit with a tornado today, there is much destruction. That is home for our favorite low-ball collector. Fingers crossed and huge prayers for you my friend.

I’ve tried to call, but service is down. Even I hope he and the Mrs. scurried down the hole in time. This is twice in a few years for those folks!

If anyone is friends with him on Facebook, try to see if his area has an "I'm OK" tag and see if he used it. Hopefully he still has cell service to let people know he's alrite...

Sending prayers...
It's coming...

Been out of power 8 hours, phone and other came on after 8:30. Walked around house so far so good. Missed us appears the Walkers Chapel business area is torn up. Couple miles or so from us.
Had a few close calls so far, one was two blocks away. Knocked tress down, if we tried to leave we are in a one way in and out.
PS my lowballs are safe, no damage.
John

Glad to have your report and to know that you and yours are well.

Well found some damage I did not seen and will need help.
Filled my gutters up and they need to be cleaned, chipped the paint off my banister and they need to be sanded, primed and repainted. Yard needs to be raked. Car got extremely dirty, needs washed and waxed. Outside windows blew dirt all over them, they will need to be washed, along with the siding.
My 14.17 grading set from PO1 to MS69, including the plus grades, all the PL's and DMPL's grades looks like it got sucked away and will have to be replaced.
If I think of any more or find any more damage I will update as needed.
Almost forgot, I will let rodent start on the septic tank, with a teaspoon and clean it out.
Here is a short clip.
