I see a high S and nothing else, so I'd be inclined to say VAM 6. I'll have to check the VAM book later to see if the picture of the mint mark on the VAM 6 page is correct.

Could also be VAM-11.

I looked at all the pages and the big book and could not come up with anything conclusive. Here are some more pics.

Maybe I will catch flack for saying this, but why does it really matter what VAM it might be? There is no premium based on any of the suggested VAMs, and especially on a coin as worn as that one. While I do always want to try and understand the die pair of the Morgan's I have, I always try to remind myself that at the end of the day, it really has no affect on my life.

Doesn't look like the VAM 11 obverse to me. Even in lower grades, you'd spot all the lines in the portrait. The marriages that share this obverse may not be worth a premium, but they are fun to look at.

...and Alan, it's a lot like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6HyGqGMJoQ

This is a case of the journey being more important than the destination.

There are lots of things in life that don't mean a hill of beans. I am not gonna lose any sleep over this for sure. It just looked (to me) that the mm was a shade higher than any other listed.
I am gonna stick with VAM 5611.
I appreciate ALL the responses!!

JR, sometimes your humor escapes me. But this time, I think I get it, kinda, sorta, maybe

Amen. Amen. Amen.
