1889cc v4a

Post by vamsterdam » Wed Oct 07, 2020 4:39 pm

i have a PCGS au50 that i am hoping to send to leroy to kill this thing. it is clearly clashed and absolutely no E. it is vam 4. JR saw it recently and said i should send it to Leroy to kill it off. i have wanted to for months but had a potential customer who keeps jerking me around.

Yeah, this piece really is the definition of a phantom E

It would be nice to see this one gone.

For something like this i would prioritize Leory over a customer personally. Especially with said coin being such an easy seller post-Leroy.

That’s a pretty pricy coin without the vam , I imagine you will sell it easily regardless

From my experience, save your money. I have a EF40 clashed VAM-4 coin. I swear I see a clashed E, but others have disagreed. Besides, you can't enter one in the SSDC Registry even if you have one. That is why there is "yellow" around some clashed E sets. The fun of VAMming

no movement on this one. JR has seen it. he's the one who recommended i send it to leroy. at this point, i don't want to send it to leroy until can talk to him first but his number has changed.
