Interesting! I think I've identified 60 different 1883P business strike obverses, and one proof.

So it looks like I may be missing only one...

There was only 1 pair of 1883 proof silver dollar dies. It's shown on another archive page that I didn't post.

That is a great information source for one doing a study. I need to look back on here and see what you have posted from 1891. The E clash of 1891 o was informative for this collector. Thanks for posting these historical pieces of info.

I simply post bit and pieces as I come across them -- there's no organized search of my database, although I'll take a look for anyone who might ask.

Right now NARA remains closed.

Nice work Roger. When the Obverse & Reverse die pair are different the math might seem a little confusing until you realize what they are doing. :)
