THE 1897-o VAM-6 Page Questions ...

The first FULL SIZE examples of a VAM-6 MM show a Centered MM tipped right
The second example shows it shifted right and tipped right.
The Microscopic image shows what I believe to be a proper V-6
Shifted left tipped right.
Am I correct in this belief
My coin is below which I believe to be a VAM-6

You may have just entered the "gray area". Multiple die pairs may exist. There may not be a "proper" single die pair that fits into the VAM-6.

We do know that the second LFCP is of a VAM-6. How? Take a look at VAM-6A and 6B.
The cracks are an exact match.

Here is an out take from the VAM-6A page that follows what Alan said;
Comments:
1. Since VAM numbers are assigned by die classification, and not just by die pairing, multiple die pairings may exist.
