1878 S VAM 37
Trying to see if these are on all VAM 37's.
Re: 1878 S VAM 37
Of my 2 examples I only have one obverse LCFP that doesn't show the lines off the cap so well but the lines to the P are obvious.

I looked at 6 V-37 and 3 V-37A.
Really don’t know why I have so many 37’s ??
V-37:
4 have lines into P; 2 do not
4 have lines by U; 2 do not
1 does not have lines by P nor have lines by U
3 have lines by both P and U
V-37A:
All 3 are yes lines by P and no lines by U

Three have none.
One has lines to P, of the three with no lines they have plenty of polishing lines to erase clash marks.
I know why I have so many! About 25 years ago these could be bought for between $12-$18 dollars. I bet they would sell for $80-$100 dollars today.
