This is a recent pick from ebay and I was wondering if the reverse die has reached the point to qualify as a buffed, worn, or sunken die.

Hey Mike, at first I was leaning toward 39A then back to 15A but the more I studied the images for both listings the more I became confused. There are a couple of remarkable similarities between the reverse images.... I'm not sure what it is at this point...

Very nice example Roger. I still haven't decided what to call mine. It does not appear to have the line in the last 8 and does appear to have the doubled ear so I have it cataloged as V15A/ 39A at the moment.

Check for line in 6th tail feather.
