Price GUIDE Update

Post by ashmore86 » Sun Jun 14, 2020 3:56 pm

I wanted to let everyone know that I am deeply sorry about the fact there is no prototype Price Guide yet in place for the SSDC. This damn Corona Virus really took a toll on the world and while you would think it ought to make it easier for me to finish the alpha pricing- It has not. I've never been so busy standing in place.

With that said, I have finished up into the 1880-O date and while that sounds like I've been asleep, it is not true, THE VAST MAJORITY of the VAMs we have in all the books are 1878-1880!! The 1878 date was freaking nuts to get done, including the 8tf, 7tf, 7/8tf, rev 79, -s, -cc....think about it.

Anyway, I am going to keep plugging away and probably before we can go to a show, I'll have a beta.

Thanks for not beating me to death about this...it has been embarrassingly slow and difficult to do.

Ash

PS--don't forget,, we are doing EVERY SINGLE GRADE 1-70, including PL and DMPL, so there is more data there than you can shake a stick at--as we say it in the South..

Great to hear Ash.
Can only imagine the amount of work such a project might take.
Look forward to the finished product!

Thanks Ash. I can't imagine the amount of work this project is. I'll be here when it's finished. Stay calm. 🐍

Ash
Great news to hear about your monumental pricing project. 12 years down and only 25 more years to go. We are all excited to one day see your finished work. :o

Ash.... Keep up the hard work ..... I remember the PAIN with VAMview ... I just hope when you done you don't get the GRIEF the the team got for the previous effort........It still will be just a GUIDE ..... It all comes down to what the seller is willing to sell for and what the buyer is willing to PAY.......Just one old mans prophecy......TC

ASH HARRISON; = A great person who has always been here to help and
knows more about Coins than most of us could imagine
I remember yesteryears when ASH was struggling just to survive
in a tough industry.

His tenacity and good will have promoted his success both here
and his BM store. May god bless him & his family

FYI; You members may have guessed, im a FAN, Proponet LOL

I have really bitched about not having a decent price guide, as
any business or endeavor that has products for sale or value
cannot survive withot values attached. KUDOS KUDOS

There will be nothing to order. It will be integrated with the SSDC Registry.

I'd be willing to pay for a printable PDF of it, if possible.

I remember the terrible time Logan and everyone else involved in the VAMview were handed. It wasn't pretty and they didn't deserve it. Hopefully, we can be better than that this time and show something more on the line of Thanks! Remember, 'It's just a guide' for Heavan's sake. A coin is 'only' worth what someone is willing to pay for it!...
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my.........Ah........Uhm........something, something, something.....
