Leroy's swamped
I just heard from Leroy today. He's a bit behind with going through coins. He's going all the indoor and outdoor chores, as his wife Marilyn is now permanently using a walker, and he gets around to going to the PO and checking e-mail maybe once a week. He currently has 9 packages of 8-10 coins each that he still needs to go through. If you're ready to send him some coins, wait a little while so he can dig out.

Thanks for the warning John. I just finished writing up a submission, but hadn't put it in a box yet.
When in doubt... don't.

Sent a batch in July 23 and Leroy cashed check on Aug 6th. Not here yet but he can take as much time as he needs. Just happy he does what he does.

Ugh for us but good on him. Must be quite the challenge at his age but they say being active and vigorous has its benefits in advanced age. Does he have help? Or at least a nurse that comes by to help Marilyn every so often? Sent him a 10 batch about 3 weeks ago. Was hoping to get them back before LB but understandable if I don't. This was not unforeseen. His unexpected hiatus created a log jam that will take time to clear.

Re: Leroy's swamped
Good question Chris - Does he have anyone coming in? My mom has, through senior services, someone who comes into her home three times a week to do whatever she needs from cleaning to cooking. If someone knows Leroy well maybe they could bring it to his attention. A simple search of his state should give some answers of what is available. I know some are too proud, as my mom was for a long time, but once she signed up she feels so much better.
