Anyone here ever buy one of these ...
Any Luck if you did ... or is it a hoax/scam
1891 on one end and CC on the other.
Them being kind of white is a red flag for me BUT if they were in a case end to
end I am thinking they may stay white …
Probably gonna get hammered for this one but speak your mind please
Anyone see an obvious VAM on either coin or not enough information ...

Re: Anyone here ever buy one of these ...
I ran into a tird at another dealers table who was happily admitting to making up rolls like these and selling on ebay and making boatloads of money off of unsuspecting people. He said, “it’s not illegal”, and whatever else. I was was so mad i got up and left the table. I didn’t get his name, and i wish i had. He has wrappers made up to look old and “original.” The one pictured here looks much older though. I caution people to be very careful qhen someone offers rolls on ebay that have nice looking key dates on the ends, they could have ikes, common date morgans or circ peace dollars in them.

You will lose roughly half of your money. Keep it intact and return it immediately. These are all purposely put together -most likely within a few weeks of you buying it- to deceive and scam people out of their money.

There's no mystery or maybe here. They are all scams.
When in doubt... don't.

100% scam, and a rather long-running one. Return it. The wrappers are modern.

Great choice cancelling out that deal.

Re: Anyone here ever buy one of these ...
Maybe the ultimate scam would be a real Morgan on each end and Chinese fakes in the middle.

This kind of scam furthered e bay's credibility and they lost great dealers also from
credit card fraud and chargebacks
one e bay seller has been selling rolls of Morgans for yrs that TPG sends back a unable
to authenticate, meaning counterfeit, yet e bay will not stop him
Thousands of Rolls over yrs, sold to unsuspecting buyers Seller= HSTURN

THANK YOU for posting this information.
I've been tempted more than once, in bidding higher, on a roll.
The rolls look so real.

Hmmm...maybe if the OP asked nicely, a member would assemble a roll of interesting VAMS at a fair price for him to search. Could also be a way to introduce new people to variety collecting?
