My 1921 Peace dollar VAM 3

I was lucky enough to have seen and recognized the line running
through the first L, in DOLLAR, on my 1921 PCGSMS64, one late night
online, awhile back.
I think I had posted it before, but it always catches my eye, as I am
looking through some of my coins and brings back, the excitement,
that I felt, when I first saw it.
what also caught my eye today was some of the letters in PEACE, on
the reverse.
Does that look like doubling?
Thanks and enjoy, Bert

Nice find! No doubling on PEACE. That's just the way it was.

The "B" looks odd because of insufficient metal to fill the die. This, and the weak central details are typical for this date.

Good eyes to spot that variety!

Thank you Lee, John and Roger.
I had meant to say, a photo of the ray over the B,
which the top of the B and the ray looked doubled
to me.
Is the the ray doubled?
Here is better photo of the top of the B.
Thanks, Bert

Nice pickup! Many 1921 Peace dollars have machine doubling, which your coins shows.
At one time there was a 1921 "VAM 2" which later was de-listed as it was recognized to be machine doubling & not a doubled die. As many dies as were used in 1921, I am a little surprised than a true doubled die has not been found.
