I have a PCGSMS63 1924 Peace dollar.
I think I see a faint clashed E, on the eagle's top/back,
through the ray,
I see the cured clash, at the bottom tip, of the wing.
I see a clash on the eagle's shoulder and a die crack
running through the eagle's head.
I see a clash running out of the olive leaves.
On the obverse, I think I see diagonal clashes, running
down, fron the forehead and also down, from the bottom of
the jaw, above 'WE'.
I see a curved line running down, from the bottom of the
hair, to the back of the neck, above 'TRUST'.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Bert

Re: I need help, with my 1924 Peace dollar
Check VAM 1AC .
Re: I need help, with my 1924 Peace dollar
Thank you Tom,
I had looked at that vam 1AC, but I didn't see anything, in the description,
about maybe a a faint clashed E, on the eagle's top/back, through the ray ,
or the curved clash, at the bottom tip, of the wing or the die crack running
through the eagle's head., the clash running out of the olive leaves.
On the obverse, the diagonal clashes, running down, from the forehead and
also down, from the bottom of the jaw, above 'WE'.
Would any of those die markers make a difference?
Do you think, that faint V shaped clash, on the eagle's top/back looks like the
clashed E?
Thank you for your help, Bert

Re: I need help, with my 1924 Peace dollar
I don't see a clashed E on the reverse, or a clashed T obverse. However, I do see doubling on the leaves. There are several listed doubled dies, see if this may be a die state of one of them.
Re: I need help, with my 1924 Peace dollar
Thank you Dr Close,
It seems, that my inexperience has confused things.
I thought, that the V shaped clash, on .the top/back, of the eagle was the E clash.
I see now, it is the top of the throat and back of the jaw, on the obv,
that makes that V shaped clash.
I am not sure, where the obv clashed T is.
Here is what I thought, was the clashed E.
Here are my best attempts, to show doubling, on some of the olive leaves
I saw the vams 3, 5, 6, and 11, but I don't think any of them match my 1923.
Thank you again, Bert
